This Privacy Policy applies to the codectool app available on Google Play, and explains how codectool ("the app"), an encoding and hashing utility, handles information when you download and use it. The app is designed to work with minimal data collection, and everything it does happens on your device.
codectool does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. The app does not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, or any other personally identifiable information, and nothing you enter is sent to us or to any server.
codectool does not store any data. Text you enter is processed on your device, exists only while the app is open, and is never saved or sent anywhere.
codectool writes to your clipboard only when you tap a copy button, and never reads your clipboard.
codectool does not include advertising networks, analytics trackers, or third-party SDKs that collect user data. The app may download display fonts from Google Fonts the first time it runs; this request contains no personal data. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
codectool does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Since no personal data is collected at all, no age-specific data handling is required.
You can clear any app data through your device's system settings (Settings > Apps > codectool > Storage > Clear Data), or by uninstalling the app.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
